Delivery of BT 1000 machine to the community of Mersing (Malaysia)

At the end of April 2024 we delivered a BeachTech 1000 to our customer Majlis Daerah Mersing. The community lies in the northeast of the Malaysian state Johor by the South China Sea. The harbor of the city lies in the delta of the Mersing River and is the starting point for numerous ferries to the islands of the Seribuat Archipelago. The area is heavily frequented by Malaysian and foreign tourists, particularly on weekends, which repeatedly results in high levels of pollution on the surrounding beaches.

In purchasing the BeachTech 1000, the federal government would like to provide clean and safe beaches to both the locals and the guests. The use of the beach cleaner is meant to be a model for further beach cleaning activities in the region.
